Encinitas Classic Car Nights

The streets of Downtown Encinitas will come alive when Encinitas Classic Car Nights comes to Downtown Encinitas. The third Thursday of each summer month from 5:30pm-7:30pm, hot rods, woodies and other classic and vintage cars will line South Coast Hwy 101 from D Street to J Street. These beauties will be parked in dedicated lots along the Hwy 101 as well as on side streets. The Classic Car Nights are held on South Coast Hwy 101 from D Street to J Street in Downtown Encinitas. Classic Cars Cruisin’ Grand Avenue in Escondido

Friday nights in August and September feature one of the greatest ongoing traditions in San Diego County: Cruisin’ Grand in Escondido. Cruisin’ Grand is a free event where more than 5,000 visitors and car enthusiasts meet to check out the 500 (or more) cars lining the streets of historic downtown Escondido. For folks planning to look at the cars and join in the fun, the best parking is in the city parking lots located on 2nd Avenue and Valley Parkway from Escondido Blvd. to Juniper Street. This year, the event will be sandwiched by a full extended weekend of events including a Nor Cal vs. So Cal surf contest, a welcome party for woodie owners, and a woodie cruise from Encinitas to Oceanside. All weekend long, you can experience the largest and longest running gathering of woodies in the world. Merchandise and food will be available at the event.
