On October 15th I posted a message talking about a 2 year old named Joey that has brain cancer that is spreading. Although I was contacted by several people sympathetic to Joey’s struggles, I only received a few donations. I want to thank those that donated to St. Jude via http://walk.stjude.org/michaelgaddis and encourage everyone else to take a few minutes to make a small donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. $5, $10 or more; whatever you can spare. The St. Jude Give Thanks. Walk. is taking place on November 22nd. I will be there to walk and show my support for children with cancer, children like Joey. If you have not donated yet, please take the time to donate at http://walk.stjude.org/michaelgaddis Rest assured, you are donating DIRECTLY to St. Jude. Your donation will be credited toward my overall goal. It is important because I want to inspire other businesses and entities to help raise money for St. Jude. If you are low on funds and would prefer to encourage others to donate through my page I would appreciate that as well.
I sincerely want to thank those of you that have taken the time to read my requests for donations. By the way, my Grandmother sent me another prayer request today which reads as follows:
I found out today that my cousin’s great granddaughter, who is under a year old, has a rare brain tumor which is inoperable. They will be trying an experimental treatment in hopes of shrinking the tumor, but prognosis is not good.
Please pray for a miracle for this little baby girl. Her name is Jodie Rai.
